Obituary: Richard Charles Wheeler, 64 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mr. Wheeler was the head of a large family. He leaves 33 living descendants. He was a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and a retired factory worker. Richard Charles Wheeler, 64, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born November 18, 1943, in Jeffersonville, IN, the son of N.S. and Mildred Wheeler. He lived in Fairplay, KY. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Debbie Lynn Wheeler of Fairplay and the following:
Mr. Wheeler's body was donated the University of Louisville School of Medicine to further the field of research. No memorial services are planned per his request.
