No one injured in car-bus collision in front of ACHS

Drivers, 17 students on board all escape injury. Parents notified by Principals Robbie Harmon and Troy Young

A non injury accident involving a school bus occurred in front of Adair County High School at approximately 7:20amCT, Thursday, February 28, 2008.

The accident occurred when a vehicle being operated by Jason B. Morgan, 17, Columbia, made a u-turn in front of a school bus being operated by Johnny Morgan, 53, Columbia.



The school bus struck the vehicle in drivers side. There were 17 students on the school bus, but none of them were injured.

The driver of the car, Jason Morgan, and the driver of the bus, Johnny Morgan, were not injured.

Parents of the students on the bus were notified of the accident by Principals Robbie Harmon and Troy Young.

The accident was investigated by School Resource Officer Jimmy Luttrell.
