Feedback: Tony Harvey says OC captured a Snipe

re: BIRD PHOTO

To the editor:

In reference to the image of a bird that OC recently has photographed. What he has taken a picture of is what's known as a Common Snipe. So I'm just wondering if the OC was snookered into going Snipe hunting and just doesn't want to admit.

Well, there's a good side to this story. He is probably one of very few who've been successful in actually catching a Snipe. So he should be proud, I think?

s/Tony Harvey

By all means he should be proud. By any name, the photograph is stunning and we still don't have an easy way of telling them apart. Can anyone help? -EW
