New members of the Rice family: Abby, Molly

Wherein George Rice admits wife's dog is smarter than his
With 2 pictures

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Some people get precious babies, but at Christine and my age, we get dogs.

I lost my dog Dottie last summer but Christine agreed that I could have another dog for my Christmas gift.

I wanted a Blue Healer for friendship and cattle help.

When I went to get my dog there were two sisters and as I choose one Christine said, "We'll take both of them." Now Christine had not wanted another dog buuutttt when she saw these they were different, sooo here we go home with not one but two dogs.

Abby is Christine's dog and Molly is my dog. They are 12 weeks old and by dog age they are teenagers and they act like teen age girls. Christine's dog Abby is smarter then my dog so I guess Christine knows her dogs better than I do.

If you use the picture of me holding the dogs in the truck door, the one in the center with glasses is me.

s/George Rice
