Wonderful news: Capt. Pollard back in NC, from Iraq!

He'll be back in Columbia on March 13, 2008

To ColumbiaMagazine.com readers:

We just wanted everyone to know our son, CPT Shane Pollard, arrived back home safely Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Ft. Bragg. He served a 15 month tour in Iraq (second tour was 9 months).

Believe me, I feel for all the parents who have their sons and daughters over there, you just are holding your breath in a way, waiting to truly exhale with relief. Thanks be to God, you guys, all of Columbia for the cards, thoughts, and prayers to keep him safe from harms way and stay strong in spirit.

He will be coming home to Columbia March 13, 2008. He said to tell everyone he really enjoyed all the cards and letters.

Sincerely,
s/Melody & George Pollard
