BSA council presents Robert Flowers the Silver Beaver award

Robert Flowers of Columbia was presented the Silver Beaver Award at the Lincoln Heritage BSA Council Award Dinner on Saturday night, February 16, 2008.

The presentation was made by his nephew Michael Flowers, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Flowers of Columbia. Michael Flowers is an Eagle Scout.



Robert Flowers, who is CEO of the Bank of Columbia, has worked in fund raising for the BSA in and around Adair County for the past 25 years. A recipient must be a registered adult member of the BSA.

The Silver Beaver Award was established in 1931 and is presented for distinguished service to people in a BSA local council.

One other Adari Countian, Vicki Ardary, received this award in 200 for her outstanding service to scouting.
