Obituary: Audrey Warren, 66

Mrs. Warren was from a highly respected Egypt community area family, a member of the Knifley Brethren in Christ Church, and was retired after a career with the Adair County School Board.

Audrey Warren, 66, 1253 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 11:25pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at 11:00am, at Stotts-Phelps McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Gaylerd Miller and Bro. Dave Book the officiating clergy.



She was born July 25, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Hazel Cowan Feese.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Warren of Columbia, KY, and the following:
    One daughter and son in law: Donna and Carl Shirley, Columbia, KY
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Kim Warren of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters and brothers in law: Lois and Kenny Janes; and Pauline and David Akin, Columbia, KY

  • One brother and sister in law, William (Sonny) and Betty Sue Feese, Columbia, KY

  • Six Grandchildren: Stephanie Shirley, Matthew Shirley, Hannah Warren, Abbey Warren, Elijah Warren, and Faith Warren

  • And several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survives
Audrey Warren was a member of the Knifley Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and was retired after a career with the Adair County Board of Education.Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of Gideon Memorial Bibles.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Visitation will take place after 2:30pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
