It takes just four easy steps

LETTERS & FEEDBACK

Dad,

There are only 3 owls listed in "Birds of Kentucky," and the BarredOwl is the only one of the 3 with a face shaped like your owl's.

Best,
Pen

Thanks. To see the Chance sighting of the owl at Chance, KY, which reigns from a utility line down there, Click Here Unfortunately, that sighting can't count in the Great Backyard Bird Count, because the survey is just for February 15, 16, 17, and 18. With the price of gas being what it is and my electric bicycle not in yet, the cold weather, and my fragiile health, I hope someone else will sight him (or her if it is a she-owl), claim the glory, and report it to Great Backyard Bird Count It takes just four easy steps to report your sightings
