Mr. Burbridge had retired from the US Army. The funeral and burial will be in Logansport, IN
Roy Raymond Russell Burbridge, 48, Logansport, IN, died Sunday, February 10, 2008, at 5:26am, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport, IN.


The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 10:30amET, at Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport, IN, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery with military honors.

A native of Adair County, he was a son of the late Johnnie Mae Dudley Burbridge and Roy Mitchell Burbridge. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Roderick Burbridge.He retired in June 1997 after 20 years with the US Army. He was a member of VFW Post 3790 and American Legion Post 60.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two children: Brandy Burbridge and Roy Raymond Russell Burbridge II, both of Logansport, IN

  • Three brothers: Jeams Burbridge, Frankfort; Cliff Burbridge, Richmond, IN; and Mike Burbridge, Louisville, KY

  • Three sisters: Sandra Burbridge, Columbia, KY; Rogernetta Burbridge, Virginia; and Jean Burbridge, Frankfort< /li>
  • One aunt: Anna and husband Willie Frank Williams, Texas

  • And several nieces, nephews, and friends
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2008, from 4:00pm-8:00pmET, at Gundrum Funeral Home, 1603 E Broadway, Logansport, IN 46947(574) 753-3138.
