Pinewood Country Club 2008 Schedule of Golf Events

Pinewood Country Club is offering a big season this year. The calendar is now complete for April 1, 2008, through January 1, 2009, when the Pinewood Country Club Polar Bear Scramble will be held.

The complete schedule follows:

  • April 1 - October 7, 2008: Tuesday afternoon Scrambles (All Players Invited) 5pmCT Start Time.
  • April 8, 2008: - September 30, 2008: Ladies Day 9:00amCT.
  • April 27, 2008: - Crusade for Children Scramble Sponsored by Adair County Volunteer Fire Department.
  • May 1 - ?, 2008: Cancelled June 5, 2008 for the rest of the season due to lack of participation. The return of Twilight Golf 5:45pmCT. Thursdays until August 28, 2008.
  • May 23, 2008: 1:00pmCT. Pinewood Country Club course closes to prepare for Pinewood Invitational Tournament.
  • May 24 - 25, 2008: Pinewood Country Club Invitational
  • June 4, 2008: and every Wednesday through July 30, 2008, from 9am-12pm Kids Day open to ALL Adair Co. children ages 5-18. $5 per child.
  • June 7, 2008: ACHS High School Scramble Fundraiser. Rain date, June 14, 2008
  • June 27, 28, 29, 2008: Pinewood Country Club Member/Guest 12noonCT. Shotgun Start
  • July 6, 2008: (Effective June 9, 2008 this event is TBD (to be determined) because of conflicts with Adair County Fair events.) Pick Your Own Team 4 person Scramble (Open to public) 12noonCT.
  • July 12 - 13, 2008: Pinewood Ladies Club Tournament/Seniors Club Tournament 12noonCT Start
  • July 26 - 27, 2008: Pinewood Annual Club Tournament 1:00pmCT Start
  • August 16 - 17, 2008: Pinewood Member/Member Tournament 12noonCT Start
  • CANCELLED 2008-08-22 Due to lack of participation
    August 23-23: Pinewood Country Club: 2 Person Scramble
  • September 1, 2008: Labor Day Scramble 1:00pmCT. Shotgun Start
  • October 5, 2008: Blind Draw Scramble 1:00pmCT. Shotgun Start
  • January 1 2009: Polar Bear Scramble
The officers of Pinewood Country Club are as follows: Acting President: Richard Stephens; Secretary/Treasurer: Kathy Jones; Members: Eric Goodin, Chris Coomer, James Thomas, Craig Feese, Dr. Ronald Rogers, and Edgar Hancock.
