Columbia Police arrest man on rape charge POLICE REPORTS The Columbia Police Department arrested a Columbia man after being dispatched to investigate a sexual assault early Saturday morning, February 9, 2008. John Anthony Bowe, 38, was arrested and charged with rape 1st degree, unlawful imprisonment, assault 2nd degre, and possession of a controlled substance 1st, cocaine.
