Adair Homemakers announce Recycling Poster/Poetry contest

Separate prizes will be awarded to poster and poetry winners

As an incentive to help the young people of Adair County realize the necessity to recycle, the Adair County Cooperative Extension Homemakers are pleased to announce a Poetry/Poster contest with prize money to be awarded in both categories.

This years theme Doing My Share to Clean up Adair.



Rules & Regulations:
  1. Open to Adair County residents only, ages 10 to 12 years
  2. Will be judged on neatness, creativity, originality and best use of theme title
  3. Poems must be at least 16 lines and hand printed on front of paper only, $25.00 to 1st place winner
  4. Posters must be on standard size white poster board only. $25.00 to 1st place winter
  5. No names are to appear on front of entries. Please attach a separate info sheet with name, age, address, telephone number and parent or legal guardian
  6. May enter both categories but must submit a separate info sheet with each
  7. All entries are to be submitted to the Adair County Cooperative Extension Office by 4:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2008
  8. Winners will be notified by phone
