Obituary: Herman L. (Pete) Pederson, 78 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mr. Pederson was retired after serving 22 years in military service and had been a Prisoner of War in the Korean Conflict. He attended Egypt Christian Church Herman L. (Pete) Pederson, 78, of 144 Snake Creek Road, Columbia, KY, died Friday, January 18, 2008, at 9:00amCT, at his residence, after an illness. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 1:00pmCT, at Egypt Christian Church with Bro. Hugh Withers officiating. He was the son of the late Gus and Gladys Mant Pederson of North Dakota, was retired from the military, having served 22 years in the US Army, including three years as a Prisoner of War during the Korean Conflict. He attended Egypt Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Fanny Belle Willis Pederson and the following:
