LWC Men's Indoor T & Field finishes 6th at Cedarville Invitational SPORTS: COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM By Chris Wells, Lindsey Wilson College Sports Information Director CEDARVILLE, OH - The Lindsey Wilson College mens indoor track and field team finished sixth at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Collegiate Indoor Invitational on Friday at Doden Field House.The Blue Raiders scored 38 team points to finish sixth in the nine-team event. Lindsey Wilson senior Zanman Graham led the Blue Raiders with a total of 14 points in a pair of events. Graham scored eight points for his second place finish in the 200 meter dash and six points for his third place finish in the 400 meter dash. The Munfordville, Ky., native, finished the 200 meters with a time of 23.25 seconds and completed the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.48 seconds. Lindsey Wilson junior Adam Cecil picked up the only win for a Blue Raider. Cecil scored 10 points after winning the 400 meters with a time of 52.15 seconds. Junior Caleb LaFond and freshman Christopher Kipchirchir each contributed three points to the team-total. LaFond scored after running a 19:55 in the 5,000 meters, while Kipchirchir ran the 800 meters in 2:06. The final eight Blue Raider points came from the quartet of Kipchirchir, LaFond, freshman Silas Kosgey and sophomore Thomas Jerome in the 4x800 meter relays. Lindsey Wilson finished second in the event with a time of 8:46. Lindsey Wilson returns to action Friday, January 25, 2008 as the Blue Raiders travel to the University of Findlay (OH) Indoor Classic.
