Adanta will conduct survey to determine number of homeless By Tammy Walker Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story On January 24, 2008, between 12:01am and 11:59pmCT, Adanta, Kentucky Housing and HUD will be conducting a survey to determine the number of homeless individuals that we have in our state. This number will determine the amount of funding that our state receives next year for homeless services and housing. If you or anyone you know lack a fixed, regular and adequate night-time residence, please contact the Adanta Group to have your household counted. Housing vouchers and assistance may not be available at this time, however, we want to count your household to show the need for additional resources in our community. This survey will not record identifying data. You cannot and will not be contacted after completing this survey. Your identity will be kept confidential. Housing criteria includes anyone that is homeless, sleeping on the street, in cars, campers, condemned houses , receiving temporary housing vouchers, living in places not meant for human habitation, those leaving jail and institutions within 7 days without a place to go and those who are being evicted within 7 days.
