Feedback: Columbians need a reality check on gas, writer says

LETTERS and FEEDBACK

To the editor:

Gas Prices range in price in other areas and not only in Columbia. But I am originally from Columbia and I know how the locals feel that they are the only people in the world. I live in Richmond and the price is 2.99 while only fifteen minutes away in Lexington it is only 2.83. This is just a reality check to let you guys know you are not alone.

Also, Wikipedia is not a reliable source to get information from. Anyone can add information on that site. A lot of times it is incorrect. I just wanted to help you get the facts straight. I know that many times down there they are slanted.

Thanks, Mike. We appreciate your viewpoint, but we're still not happy about the price differential, and the community means to find a better deal. As for Wikipedia, while it is possible for unreliable information to be posted, we believe that the organization is putting checks in place which will, in a short time, make it the most reliable encyclopedia of all. -ED
