Mayor Bell presents Awards of Excellence to ACHS Band Award ceremony photo, list of recipients, included below By Ed Waggener Columbia Mayor Patrick R. Bell presented the City's Highest Honor, "The City of Columbia Mayor's Award of Excellence" to each member of the 2008 Bands of America Class A National Champions in a ceremony today at the Raymond Lacy Music Building on the campus of the Adair County School District. The awards were presented to Adair County High School Marching Band Director Tim Allen, who accepted them on behalf of the members and Assistant Director Matt Emerson. The certificates are dated the 14th day of January, 2008, and signed by Mayor Bell. Each of the awards carries the offical golden seal of the city. Besides Mr. Allen and Mr. Emerson, the complete list of recipients--the band's student personnel roster, their instruments, and their parents' name, are listed below: 2007 ACHS MARCHING BAND STUDENT PERSONNEL Field Commander
