Two injured in Saturday accident on KY 61 in Green Co., KY

Two people were injured in an accident this morning on KY 61, four miles north of Greensburg, KY.

Britney Williams, 16, Magnolia, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet, traveling south on KY 61, and, according to the Kentucky State Police, crossed over into the northbound land of KY 61 and struck a 2006 Nissan traveling northbound on KY 61, which was operated by L.A. Bishop, 61, Greensburg, KY.



L.A. Bishop, 71, and a passenger, Darlene Bishop, 70, both of Greensburg, KY, were treated and released at Jane Todd Crawford.

Britney Williams was not injured.

All occupants had seat belts in use at the time of the accident.

Trooper Clint Walker, Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
