Lenny Stone: Venue change on C-AC Water Commission

EVENTS

Lenny Stone, Manager of the Adair County Water District, called today to announce that the Columbia-Adair County Water Commission, operators of the new Adair County Water Treatment Plant, will meet at the 109 Grant Lane, Columbia, KY office on Thursday, January 10, 2008, after all.

The Columbia-Adair County Water Commission had voted at its December 2007 meeting to hold regular meetings at its new office on Griffin Springs Road each second Thursday, at 4:00pmCT.

Mr. Stone said that the location at Griffin Spring Road should not present any inconvenience to Columbia or Adair County Water Customers. "We actually only have two customers at the water plant right now," he said. "Columbia Utilities Commission and the Adair County Water District."

The meetings are open to the public.

Individual water customers still have central access to their water suppliers, he said. For Columbia Utilities Customers, meetings are open to the public at 116 Campbellsville ST in Columbia, KY. For Adair County Water District Customers, meetings are held at 109 Grant Lane, off KY 55N.
