Gas Price Drumbeat: Anger over gas price grows

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I was wondering why gas prices shot up in Columbia to 3.15 a gallon? On Thursday noon it was 2.99 and at 4:30pmCT, it was 3.15 with one place being 3.14. It seems something is wrong, when you can go to Campbellsville and gas is 31 cents cheaper on the gallon. Kroger gas was 2.95 and Wal-mart was 2.88 and other stations were cheaper, also. If you have a Kroger card or a Wal-mart card it would be an additional 3 cents off those prices. I do a lot of shopping in C-ville and since I was there today I filled my car up. I hardly ever buy gas in Columbia because you can get it cheaper in Russell, Edmonton or Taylor County. It seems to me as soon as T.V puts it on the news oil prices is up,watch out. Gas goes up in Columbia.
