Egyptian modestly asks:
How much closer could we be to heaven?

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I enjoy reading letters from the Knifley area and also those from Jaybird Ridge sharing their pride about where they live. I know many of the residents from both areas and they certainly have reasons to boast of their communities.

But there is another place in Adair County that is a Very Prestigious place to live. We Egyptians live in Egypt and are so close to Jericho and Mt. Carmel, now can any of you get any closer to heaven than that?

s/George Rice

It is a very fine point you make. The question you ask would take the wisdom of a Ralph Hurt, a Billy Neat, or a Pete Walker to answer. Alas, they are no longer here. -EW
