COF claims CM is victim of Jaybird Ridge, KY hoodwinkery

LETTERS and FEEDBACK

Ed,

I know you're surprised to hear from me regarding this post, but I have to ring in and admit my surprise that a journalist of your experience could have been taken in by such a bald attempt at notoriety where none is warranted.

Here in Knifley we acknowledge that all of Adair is God's country, but we recognize that while God loves you, he likes us best!

PW gave you an obvious clue as to what was up when she identified the Jones Chapel area as "Jaybird Ridge." When I searched answers.com for jaybird it gave the following definition: "jay: 2) an overly talkative person; a chatterbox."

Ed, please get some rest and try to re-sharpen your journalistic instincts lest you be tempted to print another such desperate attempt for fame. In the meantime, it might be well to run such contributions by Miss Linda or young Pen before putting them to print.
