Fender bender at intersection, Lowe's Lane & Jamestown Street

A a two car collision occurred at the intersection of Jamestown Street and Lowe's Lane at around 12:15pmCT, today, Thursday, January 3, 2008.




Columbia Police say it occurred when a 2000 Chevy pickup being operated by Chris Janes of Columbia, KY was attempting to make a left turn onto Jamestown ST from Lowe's Lane and pulled into the path of a 1990 Toyota Camry traveling north, operated by Mary Cundiff, also of Columbia.

There were no injuries in the accident. The accident was investigated by Officer Gary Roy.

Safety and Codes Officer Bill Bailey helped with traffic control.

Columbia Police Officer Gary Roy and Safety Officer Bill Bailey assisted motorists involved in this two vehicle collision at the intersection of Lowe's Lane (perpendicular) and Jamestown Street (horizontal roadway) which occurred at 12:15pmCT, today, Thursday, January 3, 2008. Chris Janes was operating the truck, Mary Cundiff was the driver of the car. No one was injured in the crash.
