Feedback: Amen to Ralph's article on Courier-Journal, I-66

COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM LETTERS & FEEDBACK
Response to:"It is time to develop all of Kentucky to its potential," by Ralph Waggener

To Ralph Waggener c/o ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Amen! It has long seemed to me that Louisville would rather be part of some other state except perhaps at Derby time. CJ reporting and articles don' bother to reach much beyond Jefferson County, except of course when they want to point out something "wrong" elsewhere.

I'm not an expert on the proposed I-66 and don't know how it would affect other states to the east and west, but good roads bring in business and open up worlds to those otherwise shut off. Maybe Virginia and West Virginia don't care to open up those parts of their states. I am impressed by Ralph's list of colleges and universities close to the proposed route and I'm in favor of most anything to improve Kentucky educational opportunities.

As a rule, CM does not run articles without complete signatures, but this one contained material we chose to print anyway. And the five or six Dougs we know are reputable. -Ed
