Albany, KY, fatality 1st of 2008 in Columbia KSP Post 15 area COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM POLICE REPORTS A 54 year old pedestrian, Ronnie Lee Reynolds, Albany, KY, was pronounced deceased by the Clinton County Coroner after being struck by a southbound 2000 Pontiac Grand Am operated by Amber Craig, 19, Albany, KY. The accident occurred on Tuesday morning, January 1, 2008, just after midnight, 4.2 miles south of Albany, KY on US127. According to Kentucky State Police, Reynolds was in the middle of the road when the accident occurred. None of the occupants of the Craig vehicle were injured, according to the report. The driver was belted, but two passengers, Benjamin Claywell, 27, and Brian Speck, 23, both of Albany, KY, did not have seatbelts in use at the time of the accident. The accident was investigated by Trooper Holder of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY. Trooper Donnie Moses of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the incident.
