2007 Deer Hunt: Adair Co., KY, 932, Green Co., KY, 917

Hunters report 932 deer taken in Adair in so far in 2007. Green County is next in the Greater Adair County area, at 917, as of Saturday, December 29, 2007. Two days remain in the current season.

Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Telecheck showed these numbers reported for Adair and surrounding counties through 5:08amCT, Saturday, December 29, 2007:


  1. Adair County, 932 deer
  2. Green County, 917 deer
  3. Casey County, 840 deer
  4. Cumberland County, 817deer
  5. Metcalfe County, 744 deer
  6. Taylor County, 660 deer
  7. Russell County, 342 deer
Through all of last year, 1,001 deer were killed in Adair County in 2006, 69 more than the County has at this point in the 2007 season.
