Two treated, released following Christmas night crash on KY 61 Neither driver was injured, but two passengers in one vehicle involved in a two vehicle crash Christmas night were treated and released at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg. The collision occurred, according to Kentucky State Police, when Megan Coffey, 17, Columbia, KY, operating a 2001 GMC truck, traveling west on Long Hunters Camp Road, disregarded a stop sign and entered the path of a 2007 Chevrolet operated by Jackie Perkins, 39, Elkhorn, KY, who was traveling north on KY 61. The Perkins vehicle was struck in the rear side. The accident occurred at 8:00pm, Tuesday, December 25, 2007, near the Adair Green County line on KY 61.The two passengers who were treated and released at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg were Juanita Janes, 75, and Joseph Janes, 46.The incident was investigated by Trooper David Smith of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
