Nov. 2007 jobless rate down from Nov. 2006 Charts for seven-county, LCADD, unemployment and LCADD workforce rankings, below Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story Adair County's unemployment rate was 5.2% in November 2007, down .1% from a year ago for the month of November, though it was up .1% from October of this year according to data released by the Kentucky Education Cabinet. The county's unemployment beat the Lake Cumberland Area development average of 5.4%. Unemployment across the U.S. was 4.5% for November 2007, with a statewide rate very close at 4.6%.
