Obituary: Frances Walker Huddleston Frances Walker Huddleston, 106 Lowes Lane, Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007, at the Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY, after several weeks illness. The funeral service is Thursday, December 27, 2007, at 11:00amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY, with the Rev. Dwight Forderhase the officiating clergy. She was the daughter of the late Clay and Mildred Walker Smith of Columbia, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Huddleston, on November 11, 2004. Mrs. Huddleston was a member of Columbia Union Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Humane Society of the United States. He is survived by one son, Lynn Earl Huddleston, and his partner, Charles Koser, Louisville, KY. Several brothers and sister in laws survive: Walter (Dee) Huddleston, Elizabethtown, KY; Frances Link, Louise Huddleston and Martha Jane Huddleston, all of Bowling Green, KY; Foster and Dimple Duer, Louisville, KY; Harold and Karl Huddleston, Virginia van Zant, Elizabethtown, KY; Guion and Mary Helen Miller, Shelbyville, KY. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia, KY. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pmCT on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church or the Green River Animal Shelter, 455 Jim Blair Road, Columbia, KY.
