History Among Us, by Lanny Tucker, Greensburg, Kentucky, is going into its second printing. The book has a wealth of information about Greensburg and Green County, KY. Lanny Tucker, the author, is a brother of Columbia's Jelaine Phillips. He tells us that the book does have information regarding the Greensburg Bottling Company and Double Cola and Ski.

For Ski and Double Cola Fans, there is this:"From 1926 until 2004, the Greensburg Bottling Company on South Depot Street was a staple of the local economy. The business started distributing Double Cola in 1935. The cola was named Double because its size was twice of other drinks. The popular Ski drink was developed in 1956."
