Adair County Road Department activity report, November 2007

Adair County Road Supervisor Jobe Darnell gave a detailed report at the December 11, 2007, meeting of the Adair Fiscal Court for activities of the department during November. The report is part of the effort of Adair County CJE Ann Melton's and Administrative Assistant Lisa Lee's efforts to make Adair County citizens aware of the department's activities. (And may, since the department has become so much more robust this first year of Judge Melton's tenure, to do a little bragging.)

Adair County Road Department Report for November 2007

Presented to the December 11, 2007, regular meeting of Adair County Fiscal Court
  1. Made and put up 51 signs not including Children@Play, Stop Signs, and Speed Limit Signs.
  2. Installed several tiles
  3. Cleaned out bridge on Old Dunnville Road
  4. Cleaned bank, Purdy-Sano Road
  5. Butler Branch, Fernwood, Wagon Wheel roads graded, ditched, graveled and banks shaped.
  6. Shoulder work: Robinson Ridge, Prices Creek, Gentry Mill, Snake Creek, P.D. Pyles, and Old Portland Road PHOTO, EXAMPLESHOULDER WORK
  7. Hauled and spread gravel on various roads
  8. Removed trees on Ivy Lane, D. Upchurch, and G Taylor Roads
  9. Reworked bridge on Rollin Coomer Road
  10. Finished Creekbend Road Bridge
  11. Graded several roads to get them ready for winter
  12. Conducted maintenance on equipment at the Adair County Equipment Barn
