Alesha Compton runner-up KY Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth

Alesha Compton, Adair County High student, won second place in Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth competition at the Kentucky Farm Bureau annual meeting held at the Galt House in Louisville on December 6, 2007. Alesha competed against 10 other district winners from across the state of Kentucky.



The contest is for the children of Farm Bureau members. Contestants are judged on their interview skills and a prepared speech. Alesha was awarded $150 for winning the district and an additional $275 for placing second in the state. She also was awarded a new digital camera and luggage.

Alesha is a senior and serves as president of the Adair County FFA and the Lake Cumberland Region. Her parents are Bridgett and Jackie Chapman, and Jerry Compton.
