Adair County moves ahead in 2007 deer hunt

Latest figures posted at TeleCheck at the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife website show that as of 9:40am, Monday, December 10, 2007, Adair County is out front of the 7 county Greater Adair County Deer Hunting Area.

Green County now trails Adair by three deer with the score now 889-886. The rankings this morning were:


  1. Adair County, 889 deer
  2. Green County, 886 deer
  3. Casey County, 811 deer
  4. Cumberland County, 751 deer
  5. Metcale County, 705 deer
  6. Taylor County, 628 deer
  7. Russell County, 323 deer
In a measure of primitive prowess, Adair County hunters are leading Green County 62-54 in muzzleloading counts, and 60-42 in archery.
