Gas Price Drumbeat: High gas prices hurt entire local economy To ColumbiaMagazine.com When we have to buy our gas in other places, we grocery shop there, and we eat at restaurants there too. This price gouging is hurting our entire economic situation. These are hard times, and I do not consider these posts about gas prices to be whining, but to be very informational. I also am very appreciative that finally someone has the courage to stand up! Keep up the good work Mr. Doss. As I arrived in town December 7, 2007, gas was at least .08 higher in Columbia than Campbellsville, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Chicago. s/Allen Owens This story was posted on 2007-12-10 08:50:07
