Birds of Kentucky: Sandhill cranes fly over Joe L. Barbee called to say that, while working on the high hill southwest of the Zion Community between Columbia and Glens Fork, flight after flight of sand hill cranes passed over, headed south. "There must have been 200 of them in all," he said. Our thanks to Mr. Barbee for the report. If anyone should have gets a photo of the migration over Adair County, or has other reports, we would appreciate hearing from you. This story was posted on 2007-12-06 11:53:05
