Burkesville man, 19, in Adair jail for alleged rape of woman, 79

Kentucky State Police have arrested a 19 year old Burkesville man, Cordelro D. Thurman, charged him with rape 1st degree, and lodged him the Adair County Regional Jail, Columbia, KY.

The arrest was made at around 5:00pmCT on November 30, 2007, following a call to Kentucky State Police, about the rape of of a 79 year old woman in Cumberland County, KY.



Following the investigation Cordelro D. Thurman, white male, age 19, of Burkesville, KY, was arrested for rape 1st degree.

This case is under investigation by Trooper Stotts and Detective Hunt, assisted by Cumberland County Sheriffs Officers.
