Whooping cranes left Washington County this morning Liz Condie reported at "In the Field" on "Operation Migration," that the 17 whooping cranes were able to leave Washington County, KY this morning. Tony Harvey called this morning at 8:25amCT with the news. The official site does not include times, mostly, Tony Harvey said, because the Operation Migration people don't want to risk contact with humans. So far, no one has contacted us by email or at (270) 250-2730 of sightings over Adair County. However, the site does suggest a chance to see the birds if lift-off from the next stop at Wolf Creek Dam is possible tomorrow morning. For details, Click Here.
