OFFICIALLY, IT'S A CULVERT but it looks more like a bridge. The new crossing over Butler Fork Branch on Jones Chapel Road is complete now. Garrison Construction Company has finished the $149,000, aluminum fabricated culvert, which is 45 feet long and 15'10" wide, company President Lewis Garrison said today. The new pavement is the same width as the old, but wider shoulders now have room for pick-ups and cars to pull off in case of emergency. The view is toward Gradyville. Downstream, to the right in the picture, are tank batteries for the famous Willie Nell #2 Oil Wells. No story. Clicking Read More accesses the Today, Friday, November 30, 2007, feature
