Please send Christmas Events; Jan. Events update in progress

If your Christmas 2007 event is not posted, please send it now. A plea to help us make the Events calendar work even better. ColumbiaMagazine.com Events gives 5-way free publicity
ColumbiaMagazine.com Events Calendar for January 2008 is now being updated. Recurring meetings have been posted. If your organization's meetings are not posted or are incorrect, please let us know. If you have additions to make, they will be appreciated.

Every effort is made to produce a useful community calendar of events. Events are posted as soon as possible after receipt of information. Early announcements mean greater exposure.

In many cases, an event will receive 5-way, free exposure:
  1. A front page announcement when received
  2. A listing in the CM Events Calendar
  3. Ocassionally, events are also entered in Classified Announcements, which means
  4. A front page "featured classified" posting, and finally
  5. On the day of the event, the entry is entered in brief form in the today feature. This time, the event is placed according to time of day, to make it easier to plan another wonderful day in Adair County.
Of course we appreciate advertising for your event. Photo ads on ColumbiaMagazine.com are especially effective.

Use the Contact/submit button to send an item for posting. Remember to send Contact information with a phone or e-mail address. Please submit in caps and lower case (all caps is shouting), paragraph (not handbill) form, one (or better fewer exclamation point). Best, send in format as posted. Last of all, send all information needed to post an event in one-email. This is especially important where corrections are concerned.
