Crafty Green County hunters up 3 deer on us

Latest rankings below

Adair County has lost deer hunt bragging rights this morning, as Green County hunters spurted to a 3 deer lead this morning.

The score is now 866-863, but it ain't over yet. Reports do tend to trickle in for weeks after the season is over, and there are still parts of that left, including muzzleloading, crossbow, bow and arrow, and kids days, all of which are areas where the superior outdoors skills of Adair County hunters should come through.

Data from KY Fish & Wildlife
6:41amCT, Wednesday, November 28, 2007
  1. 1) GreenCounty, 866
  2. Adair County, 863
  3. Casey County, 795
  4. Cumberland County, 728
  5. 5) Metcalfe County, 689
  6. 6) Taylor County, 605
  7. 7) Russell County, 314
While it is hard to analyze why Green County is currently out in front, it may be due to a number of great hunters did what Ryan McQueary did this year: Went to the Land Between the Lakes, but vows he's learned his lesson. After spending a miserable day down there, he returned to report that, from now on, he'll be hunting deer in Adair County.
