Fire destroys garage owned by Dagwood Hughes

The Columbia Fire Dept responded to a garage fire at 11:08amCT, Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 808 Lancaster Avenue, in Columbia, KY, to a garage owned by Glen "Dagwood" Hughes.



The fire reportedly started by a wood stove.

The fire was a total loss and there were 13 firemen on the scene for one hour.

FIREMEN BATTLED THE GARAGE FIRE for one hour, but the building was totally destroyed. Above, Fireman Mike Keltner is attacking the fire as Assistant City Chief Charles Sparks is helping support the hose.
