CU Orchestra fall concert is December 6, 2007 By Joan C. McKinney, director of university communications The Campbellsville University Orchestra will present its annual Fall Concert on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 8:00pmET/7:00pmCT. in the Ransdell Chapel on the campus of Campbellsville University. The concert will be conducted by Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, dean of the School of Music.The program is free and open to the public. The orchestra program includes the following works: "1812 Overture" by Tchaikovsky, "La Giocondo" (Dance of the Hours) by Ponchielli, "The Moldau" by Smetana, "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis" for String Quartet and Double String Orchestra by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and various Christmas selections. Campbellsville University is a private, comprehensive institution located in South Central Kentucky.
