Obituary: David Dwayne Coomer, 46

Mr. Coomer was a long time truck and heavy equipment mechanic in the Columbia area. He was a member of a large, respected Adair County family
David Coomer, 46, 1301 Pittman Street, Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 11:00amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating.



Interment will be in Union Cemetery at Gradyville, KY.

The family requests visitation after 3:00pmCT, on Friday, November 9, 2007.

David Dwayne Coomer was born July 6, 1961. He was the son of Donald and late Brenda Joyce Sneed Coomer, who died July 22, 2007.

Besides his father, he is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Leslie Coomer and Laura Coomer, both of Columbia, KY; and Lisa Coomer, Fairplay, KY

  • Two sons: Jordan Coomer and Keaton Coomer, both of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Barry Coomer, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Donna Pickens, Columbia, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Tristan Coomer, Cassandra England, Dylan Coomer, Jasmine Coomer, Kristalin Hadley, Madison Coomer, and Braxton Hadley

  • And several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
