Two members of Grider family added to Veteran's List


VETERANS DAY, legal holiday & holiday observed, 2007: Remember: Sunday, November 11, 2007 is Veterans Day, a Legal U.S. Public Holiday; Monday, November 12, 2007; Veterans Day observed. Please send observances to events if they are not already listed at EVENTS

Angie McGaha wrote: "My cousin recently included 3 of my great uncles on my father's side and I also have a set of brother's to include from my mother's side who are my uncles. I appreciate the list for those who served or are serving today. Thanks. The names submitted are:




"Everett D. (Bud) Grider, born in 1930, now living in Nineveh, INA1C, 4 years, Air Force, mostly in North Africa; and J.B. Grider, born in 1935; Army for approximately 4 years, then Marines for approximately 16 years, Staff Sergeant, Vietnam and Korean Conflict and retired to Russell Springs, KY"
