Cyrus clears up mystery; the word is devise The mystery word in the photo of Earl Conover at the entrance to the Columbia Cemetery in the 1920's has been identified. Ann Curtis has learned, through the scholarship of the man of mystery, Cyrus, that the mystery word is "devise." She says there is still a mystery about an iron gate or arch at this entrance. Her mother used to speak of such a gate, but it isn't in evidence here. Maybe it came later.
