ACHS band, boosters big weekend now in progress

The Adair County High School Marching Band Big Weekend of Activities is now in progress.

As you may already know, the Adair County Band will be presenting an encore performance of its award winning show on Friday, November 2, 2007, at Booster Field.This event is free to the public and is scheduled to begin at 6:00pmCT.



Band Day at McDonald's: today, Friday, and Saturday, November 2 and 3, 2007, is Adair County Band Day at McDonald's in Columbia. For each Big Mac and Quarter-Pounder Value Meal sold, McDonald's will donate $1.00 to the Adair County Band.=

Event of the Year: On Saturday, November 3, 2007, the Adair County Band Boosters will be hosting what could be termed the event of the year with an Auction, Corn Toss Tournament, and Chili Supper at Adair County Middle School. There is no charge for the chili supper, but donations are appreciated. Danny Mouser will be the auctioneer for the auction.

Registration for the Corn Toss Tournament is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm with the tournament scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm. An entry fee of $10.00 per person has been set with a 50/50 split the pot prize of up to $200.00. This is a tournament you wont want to miss!
