Bank of Columbia Halloweeen 2007 drew over 300

Photos accompany this item
Kids who trick or treated in Downtown Columbia on Wednesday afternoon had a special treat at the bank of Columbia, KY, and the turnout was surprising, even for the events optimistic planners.

Alexis Spires, the loan processor who was in charge of the event, said, "We were so happy with the turnout, and just a bit shocked. We had prepared treat packages for 300, and more than that showed up."

A number of the bank employees stayed after hours, from 4:00pm-7:00pmCT, to hand out candy and other treats. Ten of them were in costumes.

A special mural was painted by Alexis Spires, just for the occasion.
