New Edmonton art gallery opens today

A new art gallery for South Central Kentucky is opening on the Square in Edmonton, KY, with a special ribbon cutting at 10:30amCT, today, Thursday, November 1, 2007.

Artist Shelley Grund is opening the gallery, Shelley Grund Art Studio & Gallery, at 100 E. Hamilton ST, Suite 1, in Edmonton, KY.




Today's event will feature original artwork in the galleries. Artists' supplies, including paints, brushes, supports and easels, will be available, as well as art classes.

The artist is accepting applications for guest artist exhibitions in the new gallery. A different artist's work will be exhibited monthly in the gallery space on the Edmonton Square.

The gallery hours will be open Tuesdays through Fridays, noon to 4:00pmCT, and Saturdays from 100:00am to 1:00pmCT, with other times available by appointment. The phone number is (270) 432-7885.
