FFA Soil Judging Team to compete in State Tournament again! TRADITION of PRIDE: It's 8th time in last 10 years for ACHS in State Tournament With team photo By Kirby Hancock Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Adair County FFA Soil Judging Team won first place in the regional competition held in Pulaski County. This year's team members are Bradley Bell, Katie Royse, Samantha Jessie, and Rebecca Fugate. Rebecca Fugate was the high scoring individual in the contest. Adair county has won the regional contest in 8 of the past 10 years. The team will advance to state competition October 31-November 1, 2007, in Hardinsburg, KY. Team members were selected through a local contest held by the NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) on J.M. Shelley's farm last month. Adair County defeated 8 teams from Casey, Green, Taylor, Cumberland, Clinton, McCreary, Pulaski, and Casey Vocational School in the regional contest.
