Walk-in flu clinic Oct. 17, 2007 at ACHD A walk-in flu shot clinic will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Adair County Health Department at 801 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY. Clinic hours will be from 3:00pm to 6:00pmCT with no appointment needed. The clinic is open to all adults and children. Everyone is encouraged to call and schedule their annual flu shot at this time, especially high risk patients and their household contacts and caretakers. High-risk patients include those 65 years of age and older, patients with cancer, chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and other respiratory illnesses, heart conditions, pregnant women and healthcare and childcare workers. Children who especially need to get the shot include those age 6 months to 2 years of age, and those with a chronic illness.
